Great playlist Dave! Thank you. I greatly enjoy the new Wednesday record and also Momma. Wet Leg needs some help with lyrics in my book. Good songs however. I’d love to see Sugar expand the shows to a real tour in 2026.

Yeah, not every Wet Leg song is shakespeare, for sure, but they're just a crazy hook machine. Mangetout has been really hard to get out of my head!

We should be so lucky!

Trying to do a Fintwit meet up with the usual finance/music nerds around either the LA or SF shows. Let me know if there’s any interest in flying out for any west coast dates. I’d offer up my place, but in San Diego.

No disrespect to Narducy and Wurster but this news is butter on a croissant.

Ok love your playlist.

And honestly a lot of this is what I listen to in the car with my kids.

I’m overdue in listening to Tori Amos’ recent output.

And yeah Tina is classic sardonic / ironic / quintessential British sexual repression.

White Horses is also my go to track from The Clearing.

Glad you gave Nilofer Yanya some love.

Thanks for the kind words and signal boost! I love that our tastes are aligned, but that our picks are never the same. Amazing indeed!

...and I'm *still* thinking about your comment a few weeks ago about being an "aesthete," and what that means in this context.

I was just having that same exact exchange with Matt Zeigler -- how its wild folks can have very similar tastes and come up with wildly different "picks!!"

Thanks Dave great track and lists. Made me smile from earlier to ear. Have a great 2026.

Got vibes on The World's Gone Wrong by Lucinda Williams? Back from a stroke, she can't play a guitar, yet she captures the moment. Felt a jolt of joy the first moment I heard that gravelly voice singing something new.

Will give it a spin!
